I was a member here awhile back, when the site was still under the Ficlets domain. I thoroughly enjoyed writing and reading the ficlets shared here on the site. I became too interested in writing ficlets and not reading those of others. But when I changed that and started commenting and sequeling other authors it made all the difference. Not only were they uplifted, but I started to pick up on their techniques that I wanted to incorporate into my own pieces. It’s all about the golden rule — treat others how you want to be treated. Now that I’ve learned that lesson, I promise to practice it every day.
