Choose an animal. It can be anything, and compose a Ficly from the eyes of that animal. Pollution, global warming and habitat destruction are all major realities we face today. As that animal, tell of any trials and tribulations you may be going through as the world changes around you.

**Alternate: The exotic pet trade is another growing reality that the world is abusing. Put yourself in the paws of an animal being captured for entertainment or look through the eyes of a pet as it is collected from its home and sold to the industry to be locked up in a cage or dropped into a tank.

Be sure when composing your entry, that somewhere throughout your work you indicate which animal you are. Don’t make this obvious, (Don’t just say “Oh I’m a sad little Polar Bear.”) Instead, leave subtle clues and hints so that by the time the reader has finished, he has some sort of knowledge as to what you have portrayed.
