The Forbidden Love
I wish I could say we would be together till the end. You brought the sun to my eyes, washed away the darkness from me. My heart beats twice as fast when you’re in the room; how you order a drink and pretend not to notice me. When I was next to you, I could smell the perfume on you. I wanted to send you a letter, but you don’t pick up my calls whose to tell if you would read the letters. I stand out in the cold, wanting to ring your doorbell.
It’s as if god has sent me you to rescue me from my fucking life. Sigh
I wish there was a way out, I would take it. I would spend every waking moment with you. I love you and you will never know it.
How could you reject me when I say hi, how can you look past me as if am not there.
I’m standing out in the cold, my heart throbbing in pain.
I know now that our love is not to be, but how am I suppose to walk away from your door way.
How foolish I must be, to waste away my life to chase after you. When all I get is the wind whistling past me.
