On January 7th 2010, the creators of Ficly faced a problem:

The alien species named Wiultyicaders (or “Witties”), who had helped create the site and helped feed Creativity Fluid into the human minds of the site’s inhabitants daily, wanted to destroy the site, as someone had created a ficlet that coincidentally detailed the Witties’ plans to destroy the Earth, word for word.
(It turned out the person that created this story was a Wittie himself, who had felt spurned by the Witties’ increasing eccentricity and wanted to help the human race).

The human co-creators of Ficly fought with bravery and courage, but unfortunately, the aliens destroyed Ficly HQ, bringing the site crashing down.

Not wanting to cause a global panic amongst the Ficly community, the human co-creators sought the help of the ally aliens called Herfhyuosaertbnhgiluyts (or “Hersheys” for short), who quickly and eagerly took up battle against the Witties.

Soon, the battle was done, the site was up and running, and nobody was the wiser…
