Day 19: The Hound of Baskervilles By Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

January 19th

The book was about Sherlock Homes and Dr. Watson trying to solve Sir Charles death. The legend was that a large hell hound kills members of the Baskervilles line. However Sherlock didn’t buy any of this for a second. That was before he saw the footprints of a large dog. Little did I know I would encounter something worse than hell dogs today…

“Why hasn’t Robin called?” Lacy whined.

“Maybe he doesn’t want to.” I said.

Her face turned red with anger.

“I don’t know who you think you are but-” She spat at me.

“Lacy I don’t care what you think.” I interrupted her.

“No wonder you don’t have a boyfriend you’re such a bit-”

“Kat! So I…” John began to say walking up to us.

He looked at Lacy and then at me.

“Did I miss something?”

“We were talking about how Kat will never find a man,” Lacy smirked.

“Interesting,” He said winking at me, “I thought she had one.”

“That’s a lie!”

“Is that so?”

“Yeah! Who would date this?”

“Me.” John said.

“Why!?” She asked.

“It’s a mystery.” He smiled.
