Shock
Mary crept slowly down the corridor, meaning to surprise her boyfriend, Andrew, with tickets to his top band. Mary didn’t like them that much but it didn’t matter, so long as Tanner didn’t come along as well. He was always hanging around, pushing in whenever she and Andrew were about to get intimate. Not this time.
She softly placed her hand on his doorknob and closed her fingers around its cold brass. She couldn’t wait to see Andrew’s face. Maybe this would get them a step closer to where she wanted to be: to a proper relationship.
As she twisted the doorknob it was silent. She burst through the door, tickets in hand, only to slam herself back into the wall next to it in shock.
In front of her, Andrew and Tanner sat, topless, staring at her, but moments before she had seen them kissing. And it was deep. And it was meaningful.
Mary threw the tickets onto his carpet and screamed, “Enjoy them!” before running from the room.
Andrew and Tanner looked at each other, and went further and deeper than before.
