A moral tale you told here – I felt the series sagged a little in the middle where you were writing very short pieces that could have been lumped together for ease, but, on the whole, it was really interesting.

I like how you developed the relationship between Ethel and Betty, and this last piece ties everything together nicely – I’d like to draw your attention to the ending you’ve written here – it’s got finality to it, but is also quite open ended – aim for this kind of feel to the ending in other series pieces, for good flow.

Nice work on this series, if you were selling ‘The Mean Bean’ I think you’d have yourself a buyer in me! MH :)
