I sat with Megan looking up pictures of Channing Tatum on the internet when the power went out.
“HEY!” I heard Nick yell, “I was winning!”
“What are you talking about? I was kicking your butt.” Sarah said from somewhere in the darkness. The two of them began arguing over who was winning.
“Where’s your breaker?” Jared asked.
“Somewhere over there.” I pointed to the far side of the basement.
“Come on.” He said pulling my hand. I followed him over. He stopped and pushed me forward towards the breaker. While I opened it and looked for the switch I realized it ad gotten very quiet. Nick and Sarah were no longer arguing. I heard scuffles from behind me and turned quickly. I dropped my cell phone. The light went off and it disappeared into the darkness.
“I dropped my phone.” I said to Jared, wherever he was in the darkness.I found the switch and flipped the lights back on and turned around. Everyone was gone. I stared in disbelief at the area everyone was just seconds before.
