Maybe the kid with get a death certificate to compensate him for the loss of his character.

Well done! Fun to read, easy to follow and certainly meets the challenge. Loved the bit of foreshadowing in “he made a grave mistake.” I liked the last line too. Summed up the tragedy nicely.

Should orc be capitalized?

Orc being a race, should not be capitalised, liz. You wouldn’t say “I am a Human.”

Nicely done…I read the first line with my heart leaping and then I saw the word: “orcs.”
They’re a good fantasy race 2 use but they are, essentially, Tolkein’s charaacters. This was explosive and well written.
