It immediately explodes into no-apology action resulting in orc-gore being splattered everywhere.
I can envision the game table now, with combat dice rolled as all too eager role players plunge into the first room.
Flush with success, the victorious warrior goes after his reward only to have his 3×5 card torn in half by a smug gamemaster with a single 30-sided di.
Maybe the kid with get a death certificate to compensate him for the loss of his character.
Well PLAYED, TR! You caught the essence of the challenge
Well done! Fun to read, easy to follow and certainly meets the challenge. Loved the bit of foreshadowing in “he made a grave mistake.” I liked the last line too. Summed up the tragedy nicely.
Nicely done…I read the first line with my heart leaping and then I saw the word: “orcs.” They’re a good fantasy race 2 use but they are, essentially, Tolkein’s charaacters. This was explosive and well written. Really, really good, Abby x.
