A New Apprentice

“Sounds simple enough,” she said. I grinned, amused.
“Sure, it sounds simple, but it’s hard to do. Easier said then done,” I said. I opened my wings and jumped into the dark sky. Jani followed me.
“Being a tooth fairy should be easy,” Jani said, “I’m good at being sneaky.” I just rolled my eyes. We flew through the air for a while before finding the house.
“Be very quiet,” I whispered. She nodded. We fluttered inside, and went into the little girl’s room. I went straight for the pillow, and Jani was right at my heels.
As I landed on her bed, and motioned Jani to stop. She crossed her arms and started forward. But I held out my hand, and glared. Jani sighed quietly, and handed me the coin. I smiled thanks, and went to work.
