Yeah, deep. I have said too many times that this or that story reminds me of myself but this does. Ficly gets me.

Ouch, could definitely feel the pain, and I’m honestly a little fuzzy on the whole friend phenomenon (moved a lot as a kid). Worked really well until that over-dramatic bit of snarkiness in the last two lines, which also seemed to fall off the meter a bit too.
