Besides that, a great story.

A unique location, and a unique parental situation, but why was mom going to see dad? and where was Carina, with Dad or left alone back away from the storm? Great job writing in your non-native language, though! very impressive!

Oh, the corrections. I think I’ll go with eighteen, but since I’ll exceed the limit of the character, I’m sticking with 18.
About the mother, I’m still considering on whether giving her a name or stay anonymous.

The mother wants to reunited with the dad and the daughter, simply she wants to fix her marriage. But she never get the chance to because she went lost in the storm. The only thing left the next day is her broken boat.

Algeria is fascinating, not easy to imagine what it’s like there.
