This was amazingly well-written, but there were two things that bothered me:
1.) I dunno if you read my story, but Laura isn’t going…of course, maybe she changed her mind, who knows =]
2.) In an American elementary/middle school, there is no year above, eighth grade is at the top of the food chain.

That said, though, I love this piece. I feel like it gives her character even more depth then before, and the last line really leaves you wondering…great writing!

My elementary school is my high school, but i did say that it was only 8th grade, i really liked the jealousy thing though…

I like this scene. It echo a lot about the fickle and transient nature of youth. Though it leads me to want to to know the story that would be wrapped around it, I’m happy to leave that but to me.
