Sounds like the school bus, maybe? Funny use of ‘names’ for the other riders. It really reminded me of my days riding a regular bus route and seeing the same people without really knowing them.

Minor spelling edit of ‘which’ before ‘annoying fatso’. I think the inner dialogue really works for me- I’ve thought many similar thoughts while feeling very smug about my superiority. Another facet I liked is that honestly the protagonist appears to be getting annoyed by everything. It isn’t anybody’ fault. Nice detail of a short but familiar ride. Lastly there are challenges that both this story and its sequel qaulify for, if you’re interested.

I couldn’t be bothered to hunt out challenges, I just felt like writing.
