I comfort you in times of exhaustion.
I am shaped to fit your needs.
If you’re not happy with me, you change me.
I never complain.
I just listen.
I listen to you tell your life story to me day after day.
I am always there for you.
Even when you leave me,
even when you stay over with someone else.
I am still there.
Waiting.
I was there for you as a baby.
As a teen.
As an adult.
And I will continue to be there as you grow old and gray.
