Surreal, apocalyptic, and somewhat cryptic… I see this is a sort of story that would be told by a hybrid of Terry Gilliam and David Lynch, so because of the sheer imaginative detail, apocalyptic storytelling possibilities (“The Feeders”? I’d sure love to see a prequel about them.), and just plain (but good) weirdness, I give this 5 pencils. Well done! =))
This needs to have a sequel and maybe a prequel written to it. I am going to have to reread it, I think, to get the full effect. Lots of tension that hooked me from the get go. I want to know more about the mask. Was that what was sacrificed for their escape? Wonderful work!
I don’t know how I missed this one and I’m sorry I did. This was an exciting and well-written entry. I certainly echo the sentiments of the earlier posters. Somehow you blended science-fiction, horror, thriller, and action against a post apocalyptic back drop. Well done!
