I know I’m in the minority on this one; I found this a bit cliche. Although well written, it seemed more of a teaser for an old school MUD, or on the jacket of a dungeon fantasy novel.

it’s not much of a plot, i admit, not really any character development, but it’s got adventure!

Roll all the previous comments together to get something akin to what I’d say. I’m picturing this as either an inscription, or some sort of system message as someone enters this… thing.

Hmm, this reminds me of what gets written at another site that I can’t remember the name of, but it has a similar sort of concept. Basically there are so many items that need to be found by Seekers, but each object is guarded by all manner of evil. This reminded me of that. Short and sharp, very well done :D

I woke up with the opening line rattling around in my head. Had to explore it. I’m such a novice, who dabbles mostly in poetry and the ongoing Dire Diary of Darcey Dorka , but now and then I’m intrigued me to try my hand at something different.
