Yeah, the office feel is twisted away at the end, but to what? It’s not clear if this is a mental institution or some other place. Great description of the door, and the nervous smiles, and Linda comes off brave until the ‘off to bed’ line, but when it seems this is not an office, but some other place, she regains her sense of bravery, but as a guardian, not an employee, giving her less awe and more oh i get it.

Yeah, I got mental institution, which lent some sadness to this piece. Really interesting thoughts!
