If you have the character space it might be helpful to break up the paragraphs a little.

I like the message of the story. I know I say I’d die without my books,computer, chocolate stash, etc. but I know somethings are more important than that (well maybe not the chocolate stash ;)

In truth, it’s based on reality. The TV show was called Gutted (in the uk, on the channel called Home) Luckily though it was everything I own, not everything the family owned. We still have ‘stuff’ just not my stuff anymore.
