Commentary: The geography is from Dante’s Inferno. The rest relates directly to the Voices from the Pit challenge. Like humans, demons have jobs to do and they can get bored without intellectual stimulation. I was quite pleased with the first paragraph, and debated whether I should submit it to this challenge all by itself.

Some clever aspects. Alas, in Hell we never get what we really want.

I liked this a lot, and I agree that the first paragraph is a fun interesting image. Angels singing being as annoying to a demon as the beep beep beeping of an alarm is to us. I’m glad it wasn’t entered as a stand alone though.

I also liked the clever reference in using “Dis” as the capital.
