I fear that this particular find will get fixed too soon, but I hope that the ability to submit sequels/prequels to challenges will instead be expanded upon and made simpler. Perhaps by allowing one to flag a challenge as interesting, and have a dropdown show up when writing/sequeling/prequeling suggesting that a flagged challenge be applied. Who knows.
The blinking cursor raced in front of the letters of the comment he typed.
“Very well done,” he said. “Very well done, indeed!”
The commenter considered writing a comment and a ficlet at the same time. The creators of the site allowed for the same amount of characters. Theoretically it could be done.
“Why would they do such a thing?”
The cursor waited, sitting silently.
“Why would they allow it? Had it ever been done before?”
He tried desperately to type more but quickly became bored of his silly game and thought of ceasing to chase the cursor in the comment box.
He knew he had failed, he was finished. Wallowing in his own miserable defeat he knew the only way out of his freakish misery would be to push “submit it”
