If I’m going to use another ficly as glue in a time-travel story, I might as well make it good…

It’s so mindbogglingly brilliant!

How did you do it? At first I frustratedly tried to find the beginning of the story chain, then the reality slowly dawned on me – and I was amazed… Good story, but the technical wizardry of it all is what makes it outstanding – MH :)

I am not the first person to accomplish this feat… I had tried it a long time ago, but unfortunately it didn’t work back then. However, I don’t recall who the first was, and Ficly is working way too slow right now for me to find him.

Ooh, trippy way to describe what he’s seeing. You’d think such a sight would drive a man mad.

It is based on my perception of the 4th dimension… In a somewhat pseudo-scientific way. The 4th dimension is yet another field of depth, where each point along the line is a moment in time for us 3-dimensional beings. It’d be like seeing the entire thread of our life, all other lives around ours, and the entire history of the universe, all laid out before us in an endless weave of light.

I love thinking about it.

An excellent story. Wonderful descriptions about the randomness of the space-time continuum and all that. For some reason, I like what Samuel says a lot; when I read it in my head, it has that, Oh, come on, not again… kind of quality.

You must have excelled in English at school to write your stories.
