Ohh, I like this. A very nice twist on the challenge.
Minor nit pick is your ’and’s starting sentences, I don’t think they’re necessarily necessary, might have a bit more impact without. If you want to keep them, a comma, a colon, would suffice I think.
I love your title! It fits with what you’re saying and grabs attention, plus it’s a good thinking point already before you’d even started. Is it a quote from somewhere, or did you make it up? Either way, I thought this was an original perspective with a perfect title as the cherry on top.
Thanks for that comment. I don’t think it’s a quote, at least not a conscious one. I was thinking of the line from Milton’s Paradise Lost when I wrote it. It is better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven.
So there is no Hell but there is heaven? Meh, Seems like the place for me. I have a problem with any kind of authority. I like it until you confuse me with the bit about not Hell.
No Hell? I think you missed the point of the piece. There is a Hell, it just isn’t a place of torment. It’s a place where there is no god and no easy answers.
