The fact that I meant this to be a joke is why it’s funny. because its not that funny. Got it? Good. lol (I think that’s a paradox or something).

It would have been funnier if the last line would have rhymed with something.

That’s why I put it in parenthesis, so it would hopefully have a detached side note feel, becasue it doesn’t rhyme. But to my poems credit, the something that makes the last line fit is that it fulfills the gradual lengthening requirement I seem to put on my poems. It’s not really a pun either. Just goofy, and apparantly not really all that funny. Which kinda makes me chuckle, cuz I have an off beat, awkward, random, sense of humor :D

I find it incredibly difficult to rhyme lines that fit into a shape, or form, and pull it off sounding like nothing is forced. I keep coming back for more of that style because I’m a long way from mastering it, and hence I’m not bored with it, yet.
