I’d drop the ‘for me’ in the last sentence. It’ll flow better. :)

What a beautiful story. I’ve felt all those feelings and yyou really capture the desperation when losing a friend (or angel)
Only one point:
“Did God just decide I didn’t need him anymore, because I do?” the question mark should be after ‘anymore’, it reads completely different.

not bad, not bad, I think you could describe the dark space and the being lost a little bit more, but the emotion is conveyed well enough.
