It Makes Perfect Sense

Brockport, PA – Yesterday afternoon, Jon Pranic braved the cold and light flurries to light a small bonfire. The reason for the bonfire? To burn some Bibles. “One of the biggest events from my childhood,” Mister Pranic states, “was how revolted I was when I learned about Giordano Bruno.” Giordano Bruno was a Dominican friar, philosopher, mathematician and astronomer who was burned at the stake for heresy on February 17, 1600.

Mister Pranic will soon post photos of the fire on his blog, Giordano’s Ghost, which can be found at giordanosghost.blogstate.com.

“I see burning these Bibles,” Mister Pranic continued, “as a way to remind us of the untold thousands who have been murdered by Christian fanatics over the millennia.”
