Great story, good characterization! I love it!

Though I question why you put ‘friends’ in quotes. It doesn’t add anything to the story, in my opinion, but feel free to dispute me!

oh, well, Gror is supposed to be … unintelligent.. the abyss is a well.. he wore a foil hat… um, so would he have real friends? no he’d have people who would play.. well.. not really WITH him, but include him in a way that is kinda mean.. but he believes they are really friends…

Silly little bit of story. I was a bit lost where it was set, with the mythical name but a flashlight. Seemed to straddle imagination and a boy’s imagination perhaps.

I think this story turned out quite nicely.

it was set in his head.. @ THX.. he plays in fantasy worlds.. yeah. hard to explain in a ficly.

What happened to Horse?

I dunno, maybe Horse was stubborn and refused to pull him out.. maybe someone later spotted Horse and rescued an unconscious Gror..

You always explain your stories so well in the comments department that it doesnt leave much to comment about. but it was funny. i always refer to really crazy people as aluminum foil hat crazy.
