I have great respect for Lady Gaga as a performer, an artist, and a singer. I meant this as a parody of that ridiculous rumor about her. I also wanted to parody the lengths people will go to try to get meanings that obviously aren’t there out of texts.

Haha! I think that she is intriguing, just kind of weird. I like this though, because you are right, the press will really dissect things in order to just get the Rumor Mill going. Good job.

That was really funny, and I could totally picture one of those overly enthusiastic rumor-monger types giddily explaining their “ingenius” discovery of hidden meaning.

I wouldn’t say I respect Lady Gaga. She writes a fun pop song, but I think the exhibition and performance art stuff is a bit over-done, as well as she seems to take herself and her “art” way too seriously. But that’s just my opinion.
