The female fallacy (as written by a “nice guy”)

females always amaze me,
most seem to wish to erase me.
I’ve been called a “nice guy”
once or twice, in my lifetime.
That keeps me feeling warm,
yet the ladies treat me icy.
Why?
I drive a nice car,
buy em things slightly pricey,
always pay at dinner, to impress,
hell I’d even try something spicy.
Money’s just inviting
Heartandmind’s more exciting
I wear mine on my sleeve
spill my honesty with ease
all to appease, you.
noting my approach, we share a toast
exchange a text or two, then, ghost.
You, the one who complains the most
about bad guys on every coast.
Maybe,
I’m not exactly-
what you want me to be.
So pursue bad ones and try to flip em,
yea, I watch you play realtor
with your love life only to find strife.
dying to maximize emotional profits?
that might be what hurts, knife.
I’m not half-bitter as I may appear,
just bothered by the truth, I fear.
even this may be too boring for your taste,
well at any rate,
it’s cool.
I’m sure you’ll grow used to fools
who’ll leave you emotionally bruised.
