I like it. This seems more like a sentient creation, though I’m leaning more towards the old school magical automaton rather than something robotic. Then again, since it’s so popular, maybe I should imagine as some sort of steampunk machination. Neat idea and sort of sets up the possibility of a larger adventure, this guardian’s quest to explore curiosity itself.

I like to think of it as a cyborg with a positronic brain that was thrown into neutronic flux due to a disturbance emanating from T.I.C. (The Insane Creature)’s brain. But I doubt many people would understand that. Except me. And a random dude called Nik.

WOW. The tide/dynamic time simile stopped me in my tracks! I can’t decide whether I liked part I or part II better.

Regardless, you’ve got me. Hook, line, sinker.
