Hmm… This could get interesting. I like this. I think it calls for a prequel/sequel, although I probably won’t attempt it. I look forward to reading one. :)

Great visuals in the beginning, but a little too much of the word “was” & “had” in the 2nd paragraph for my liking. Passive voice bugs me. Overall, an incredibly insightful introspection into an interesting character is about to emerge. I’d like to see where you take this.
