The time on the dashboard displayed 11:50. He looked at the clock and thought “Still some time before I need to clock in.” After turning off the engine, he started to get out of the car. “A storm must have blown in.” he thought, “Did not notice that”. Outside the retail store was ahead and the parking lot was almost empty. The sky was darker then it had been at the park.

He realized that the sky had become overcast, but was also darker because the sun had set. His brain was starting to absorb what he was seeing. Instinctively, he pulled his phone out to confirm the time. The phone displayed 12:00 AM, not 12:00 PM. This did not make sense.

When he left the park it was around 11:00 am. Usually, it only took 40 minutes to drive to his part time job. Almost twelve hours had passed, but where did it go?
