Some brilliant turns of phrase – the penultimate paragraph is particularly strong, and a strong general voice of cynicism and dark humour… One of the best pieces I’ve read recently – MH :)

Mostly harmless makes a good point — there is something to be said for a short fiction / half-breed poetic style when it comes to writing ficlets. Stylisticly I’d give it an A+, but I’m not done. I served in the military stationed overseas to fight. Most Americans have no idea how good we got it and how we’re seriously trying to spread the good news of liberty to our fellow human beings. Don’t EVEN get this Hillbilly started!!!!
