Jonny

It was nice knowing Jonny was looking after me, as I sat on his bedroom floor, a can of Strongbow hanging from my fingers. Jonny walked in with a bowl of chips and I smiled up at him.

Jonny had always been there, but we were in different groups, with different friends and different lives. We had talked occasionaly, mostly about the misery of maths, but other than that we had been detached and that was how I thought it would stay.

He sat down close to me and we shared a smile. His warmth was incredible – I felt I could curl up into his arms and just stay there.

Suddenly his smile stopped. His hand came up to my neck and he pulled me close to kiss me. It was so deep and hot that I was unable to resist until he pushed me slowly back onto the floor.

“No,” I murmered, shaking my head. I didn’t want to move so fast this time.

Instead of stopping Jonny kissed me harder, his hand reaching under my shirt, sending tingles up my sides.

But I was stopping this. I wasn’t a slag. So I screamed.
