Temporary Opulence
The roar of the small engine plane is all you could hear as I looked down onto a miniature version of a small town Texas landscape. I then leaped with faith and plummeted towards the earth with style. I was doing somersaults through the air with a natural precision that only comes with years of experience.
I made a perfect landing. A man approached me with a smile and helped me out of my jumpsuit. He then said “You were amazing as usual! Here are your keys Sir.” He then gestured me toward a red car that sat off in the distance. As I drew closer to this car I then noticed the decal on the front hood. It was a Ferrari! I couldn’t believe my eyes. How could I not remember owning a Ferrari?
As I sat in the car admiring the plush leather seats, a cell phone began to ring. I answered, said hello. The soft, sweet voice informed me that the pilot of my private jet just called and that I was expected there in two hours. I looked down at my wrist which was sporting a gold Rolex, it was Noon. And then I woke up.
