I like how you make a story out of the, what would be apparently minor, difference in ordnance.

A minor difference in tech, but what could be a major difrence in survivability.

Ta- I originally meant for this Ficly to have much more of a steampunk/fantasy feel, but I had to cut down heavily because of the word limit. I’ve made a few edits in an attempt to reverse this.

A very nice little story, love the different reality this is set in :) I suppose what’s even better is that despite the key difference, you can still visualise what’s happening because of similarities to modern weapons :D
