Oh, this is great – utterly adorable. I love how this captures the inner child in us all – and we only find out from the last line. Awesome.

You could cut back to earth in the last paragraph to make it less repetitive, and fix the misspelling ‘climg’ to make this fantastic adventure perfect.
23 does seem a bit old to be climbing shelves, but desks seem reasonable. :)

Awesome depiction of imaginative play, and the twist at the end is hilarious. I can’t say I did this exactly, but I had my fair share of, “You’re a grown up now,” discussions during the first few years of marriage.
