I like your take on it, you can’t get a more oddly suitable partner for all your own foibles than yourself.

I would appreciate some author enlightenment on this one. How is it possible for one to impregnate themselves even in two separate bodies? My understanding of the subject at hand involves sperm and an ovum.

Really, I have no idea if hermaphrodites are capable of impregnating themselves, or whether both of their organs are in 100% working order. Just a bit ’o fun.
