I didn’t read the sequels before I wrote this, damn. Maybe I will have to write a prequel instead.

I think with the sheer number of prequels and sequels there is no longer any requirement to respect any preceding canon to the story. This was bizarrely confident, like an absurdest Wolverine. A bit out there, but that seems to be the order of the day coming off such a silly little ficly.

I think it’s awesome how many sequels that duck suit bit spawned. This is actually a neat response, and for some reason brings to mind Bashar Miles Teg in Frank Herbert’s Heretics of Dune, I think.
