maybe not ‘are’ but ‘become’ more rational and routine if you let them. Sure I feel a lot like Mary sometimes, but if I create adventure, then I can get that feeling back.

I like the idea behind the story, even though I think it’s jarred with an overuse of connectives (as I forget the linguistic term)

But as I said I do adore the frankness of the uncomfortable truth this tells of.

It’s just so true.
I’d like to think that reigniting passion by any means necessary (casting aside responsibilities for fun) could be as rational as anything if it resurrects the feelings of young love and saves the relationship. After all, the reason we work so hard is for the people we love— it means nothing without them.
Of course this is only a story, but it hits so close to home in a lot of ways. I couldn’t help but take it personally. Good work.
