Good idea for a story, I like that it took something as simple as chasing after a coin to remind him that he didn’t want to die after all.

This is great. The last sentence was so simple and it just plain. I know that I stand at no place to judge but I like this.

The turnaround was really good, as was the allusion and the irony. I pretty much agree with what the others said.

Excellent story! Just one point (if you don’t mind a minor criticism)… “wouldn’t have needed that coin, where I went.” You didn’t go, so “went” should more like “where I was heading” or something similar.
