“Well for example, this morning I was thinking what would be the best option if someone lunged at me with a knife. Should I drop my weapon and attempt to disarm him? or should I risk being hit from the side and attempt to elbow him? Or should I atempt to pull out my persuader (Note: A firearm, in this case a handgun) and shoot him”
“You’re right. That isn’t intresting”
The sun began to set as the night engulfed the sky. But Kino did not stop, instead she kept the same steady speed as she did before. After many painful hours the outline of a city could be seen. And two large gates were visible. It wasn’t long before she reached them.
Kino Jumped off Hermes and walked to the customs office. Which was a small building to the right. A man stood behind a glass window, he looked young and energetic, despite the fact he was working so late. He handed Kino a form, she qucikly signed it and handed it back.
