She walked to the counter.

“One cup of tea please” Kino asked a woman who was behind the cash register. She had long black hair and sharp fingernails, she brushed her hair back and smiled.

“Certainly” she walked into the kitchen, and two minutes later came back out with a cup of tea.
“Enjoy” She said as she handed Kino her drink

Kino retreated to the back of the room and sat down on a table by the window. Through it she could see Hermes, so was assured he was safe. She drank it quickly and put it down. She then walked to the counter, handed the woman some coins and walked out.

“How was it?” Hermes asked
“.. Ordinary” Kino replied

She walked back to the middle of the town and pulled out the map she was given.
“Now, where can we go to sleep?” She said while rubbing her eyes

“Excuse me traveller” A voice came from behind Kino
“I couldn’t help but overhear, you are looking for somewhere to sleep right?”
“Yes, thats right” Kino replied, a bit surprised by his clothing.
