This is excellent. The opening line throws you into the story. I can see what kind of bizarre scene this must be, especially with those inspiration tags.

Great story, and it fits the challenge perfectly. As I was writing the challenge, I wondered if anyone would try cosmic horror for an entry. I’m glad you did, since you did it so well.

No matter how much budget a director has, he/she still won’t be able to show words that reach you visually before they become audible, or the non-Euclidean architecture of this strange space.

@Sir Bic- Not intentionally but as I re-read it I can definitely see some inspiration there. Somehow it seems fitting that it was hiding in my subconscious. Adding it to my tags now…

A very intriguing piece. I think the Lovecraft would have appreciated this idea given his fascination with architecture.

Being a SciFi nut, I’m of course trying to figure out how it happened. Is it like the bridges (bifrost) of Thor? Or the wardrobe from Narnia?

The title sold me on the piece, as many others have said.
