Just a quick couple of corrections that might need to be made, mate:
1) I think you should change the line “It happened in this wise.” It doesn’t really chime well with the rest of this part. Perhaps you could put a space between the first and second paragraph and add the line: “It goes like this” and then add a semi-colon ( : ).
2) You’ve written in the second paragraph: “…and I who was I to decline her…” Probably an unfortunate typo, I’m shure.
