Is It a Reverie, or Just an Illusion of Live Movements That Comp
When the experiments of English photographer Eadweard Muybridge, gave way to the concept of motion picture, a new revolution of witnessing the movements of objects in celluloid ushered in. In the late 19th century, many couldn’t make out whether it was magic or illusion.
People were bound to think on that line, because before that, it was never imagined that apart from real life, someone could actually be seen on screen. More astonishing than anything else was the collection of sequential images of movements of a person that could give birth to motion.
It won’t be an exaggeration to claim that as long as filmmakers manage to come up with untold stories, the powerful medium of cinema would keep us wondering, and compel us to fall for them, despite having the cognition that whatever is dished out is a work of imagination!
