Poem From the Convention

All I can ask is,

Oh, but what if?

But is there any basis,

To ask, To wonder,

To even ponder,

What may have been,

Might have happened?

Did you really just leave me to fend-

For myself?

No one would have guess,

You certainly weren’t pressed,

The selfishness reeks,

It’s been twenty weeks.

I know it doesn’t matter,

How could it even?

And I know I’m just scattered,

But did you actually care?

Now everything’s shattered,

Cuz it doesn’t seem like you did.
