Based on real fact. Presario breeders figured out if they put Chihuahuas in with the Presarios, thefts virtually stopped. This is what I instantly thought of when I viewed the artwork, I didn’t see the creature as bad at all, it almost seems like the teddy bear is saying, "OK, you can tuck him in, but you better not try to find out what he tastes like!

Very different take on the challenge. At first I thought that first dog breed was a made-up one to fit the picture (cause I still can’t get to the image due to the stupid filters on my work computer). Not so much a narrative as an informative piece, but that works too.

ten minutes of research later … I feel a little sorry for the poor Presa Canario that you find them to be that ugly. I think they’re quite cute in a very special way.

Yes, it’s mainly an informative piece, but it does work very well and it’s a really good take on the challenge. Also, your writing style is still brilliant so you can carry it off easy.

@Abby, Ugly? I like that you gleaned that from my description, I actually think the “monster” looks sweet and harmless too.

If a 7’ man comes to rob you, he’s ugly. If he’s the favorite uncle ala babysitter, he has rugged good looks.
