Are You The Rabbit?
She couldn’t stop falling; it was a seemingly endless trap. Alice’s eyes looked around in wonder at the items that floated by her. Her fingers snapped out, clutching a pocket-watch out of mid-air. Alice clicked it open and looked at the time; it was 1:39. She hoped faintly that Time hadn’t been toyed with. The girl managed to keep hold of the pocket-watch. She pulled back in surprise as a piano danced by her head, keys moving quickly as music poured out from it. Alice could see the musical notes in the air and it perplexed her; this isn’t real, right?
Are you the rabbit or the headlight, and is there room in your life for one more breakdown?..
The darkness crept up towards Alice, beckoning to her with a call. She looked around desperately. Alice did not want to see what was at the bottom of the hole now.. She was scared and cold. Her sight grew darker slowly, as she struggled to find a way to stop this unreal madness.. A dull crack echoed as Alice hit the ground, sending her into unconsciousness.
