Interesting spin at the end there. You went from a description of Death to it being a personal piece, I liked that. This was nicely structured too. The flow was very smooth.

It went from sadness, to anger, to despair. (You need to switch the second ‘far too’ to ‘too far’) It does flow well.

I know this feeling. It’s haunting.

I read this in the wake of the shooting. And I’m surprised at how well it fits.

Even more so, knowing it was written shortly prior.
